Human life is dynamic . Therefore , everyone must have a plan to do something in life . It is called one’s aim in life . A man who has no fixed aim in life is like a ship without a rudder . In choosing a profession suitable for him , one has to be very careful and considerate .

[ Aim in life differs from person to person . There are different kinds of professions in the world . It depends on one’s taste , interest , aptitude and ability . Like others , ] I have also an aim in life . My aim in life is to become a doctor . My parents and teachers have given their consent to my choice .

There are many reasons for choosing the profession of being a doctor . The poor villagers of our country suffer from various diseases . There is no qualified doctor in our village to serve them . There are also a few quacks , but they can not serve them properly . Rather they extort money from the simple folks . Many people meet untimely death for want of proper treatment . So , I have decided to serve my villagers through this profession .

Now I read in class eight . To be a good doctor, I have to pass the J.S.C , S.S.C and H.S.C Examinations from the science group with G.P.A-5 . After that I will get myself admitted into the Dhaka Medical College Hospital for my M.B.B.S degree . After passing the M.B.B.S , I shall go back to my native village and serve the poor villagers free of cost . [ I will also join the local Health Complex to maintain my family . It is my determination to set up a charitable dispensary and distribute medicines to the poor free of cost . ]

[ Besides treatment , I will make them aware about the necessity of education , family planning , modern cultivation system , sanitation , tree plantation and the bad effects of early marriage , environment pollution etc . I think this will help the villagers a lot to lead a healthy and happy life . ]


Success in life depends largely on the proper choice of a profession . I believe that through proper and regular study , I will be able to reach my honest goal and serve the nation through this profession .
